Hmmmm.....it's been a long time since I've updated. Mommy has been doing a good job of doing it for me. I think I haven't updated because I have SO MUCH energy lately! My favorite activity in the WORLD is RUNNING! I like to run everywhere. When mommy wants me to come, all she has to say is "run, run, run!" and I love the game! It's great! Mommy loves seeing my little diaper butt running around everywhere!

I weigh over 30 pounds now....and I wonder why Mommy doesn't carry me all the time any more.

PLUS, the BEST news.......I am now warming up to my Daddy! It's taken about 2 years.....I wasn't sure how I felt about that big, strong man who always wanted to hold me. But now, I am starting to think he's pretty fun! My favorite time with Daddy is bath time. Mommy's baths are just not as fun. With Daddy, I have splash time, lights time (I love sitting in the dark!), peek-a-boo time, wash time, more splash time, more lights time, water time (where I say "bye-bye!" to the water!) and then clean-up time where Daddy and I sing the clean-up song and I put all my bath toys way. With Mommy it's just clean time and maybe a splash time or too! You'll just have to learn from Daddy, Mommy!

My favorite TV shows are: Clifford, Doodlebops and Jojo.....but ABOVE ALL, I LOVE BIG BEAR! (Bear in the Big Blue House!) Mommy only has one video of him for me, but we get some from the library sometimes. I love Big Bear even more than Barney.....much to my parents delight!

I also love music and LOVE to dance! Any time there is music playing, I dance and I especially love dance time after dinner with Mommy and Daddy. We do family dances and family hugs and it is so much fun! I have great parents, huh?

I am also getting excited about my party! Mommy keeps telling me I am turning 2! She says we are going to move into a new house, all for me and we talk about my party all the time! I just also learned how to say my name when someone asks "what's your name?" It usually takes me a bit, but I love saying "Ellie!"

I need to go watch Jojo now.....it's TIME! :)

Well, my latest favorite toy is my "pig." I have just attached myself to it. Last night, it was really late, but Mommy was still up for some reason. I saw her walk by my room and called "Mom! Mom!" (I am getting to be a big girl and don't cry out at night much anymore! I also hardly call my mom, "Mommy". It's just "Mom!")

Mommy came in and rocked me and told me there was no milk. I was a little bit disapointed, but then I kept calling for "Bear." Mommy accidentally grabbed my pig instead of my bear. I gladly held onto Pig and kept saying "pig, pig." Mommy can't understand how I could tell the difference between bear and pig in the darkness, but I am smart and I know. So, when I have my nap now, I either have to have pig, bear, or bunny. I like to suck on their ears to go to sleep!

Ma-Ga, I am so excited to see you and G-daddy when you come out here for Thanksgiving. You can help us work on our thankful box! Thanks for talking to me this morning on the "fun." I am off to take my nappy now. I am tired!

Yay for swimming.....my new favorite thing! Now, you have to understand that I was scared.....a LOT at the beginning. But, Mommy was there the whole time and I could look up and see Daddy watching and cheering me on!

I loved singing "Ring Around the Rosy" and then Mommy would dunk me.....not too deep at first, but I got brave later and stuck my WHOLE head under! I haven't quite mastered jumping in the water without holding Mommy's hands, but I am sure with practice I'll be able to do it in no time!

I think my favorite part was throwing and catching the ball to Cassidy, my new friend! I just loved balls and cry when they are gone. It was fun watching the ball pop up from the water!

I can't wait until Thursday! Mommy thinks I am going to be a water-bug. I think so too!

I don't understand grownups! Mommy doesn't understand this about me, but I just love leaves! Why can't grownups just stop and pick up pretty leaves and spend time outside enjoying themselves? They are ALWAYS on the go!

When I go outside, I get so excited to see all the leaves blowing around. Of course, "leaf" is a hard word for my little tongue. But, I say "WEAF! WEAF" over and over again. Every time I am outside, Mommy understands now that I have to pick up at least 2 weafs.....one for each hand. I just have to remember not to eat them because they taste acky!

Pick up a weaf tomorrow and think of me. It will make you smile....I promise!

Also, Mommy read me "Witzy Wonders" tonight and I loved it. Book time is MY FAVORITE!

BIG NEWS.....BIG NEWS!

I poo-pooed on the toilet today like a big girl. I love announcing to Mommy when I have to go, so MOmmy got the brilliant idea that she would take me to the potty when I told her. I did it twice and the second time with not even an accident. I feel like such a big girl!  

Mommy and Daddy are SO PROUD of me!
